ndrea Le is a rising LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted with her win at 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has had success in all levels. She won nine times at Standford University during her collegiate time and was ranked for 17 weeks in the top spot of the world's Ladies Amateur. The Mark H. McCormack Trophy was presented to her when she ended the year as the number one female amateur. After that she was a professional. Andrea Lee made her name as an amateur but is now a professional. James James began teaching her at age 5 to play the game of golf. As a young girl, she started competing in events. She was awarded 50 championships when she was a junior player in just four years. This year's US Women's Open was her first major cut. Her father accompanied her to the tournament at her age of 15 and worked as a caddie. The LPGA Tour invited her as an official sponsor for the 2015 ANA Inspiration, where she reached the cut only by one stroke. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup and Women's World Amateur Team Championship. Following her admission to Stanford University in 2016 she became the top-rated player in its history in that moment. Over the following three years she was awarded nine individual titles. Lee became a professional in the year 2019, after leaving Stanford University. Her record as an amateur was 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was also awarded the Mark H. McCormack Award in 2019, following her completion of the year at the top of amateur rankings. Lee's record for amateur play included four holes in one and a albatross. When she made her debut as a player on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top-10 finishes. She placed 7th in the final round at Kingsbarns Golf Links in 2020 at the AIG Women's Open. Lee won her first LPGA Tour win in the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee devoted her victory to her late father Min who called me a champ and was always confident that I could do it. She said, "I was so grateful to him. I'm sure that he's always watching." Lee was previously involved in tennis, soccer or figure skating.
